International Recruitment

All our candidates are qualified nurses in their respected country of origin, with at least 12 months of work experience which provides a wealth of valuable knowledge to help them transition and smoothly integrate within your team.

International Nurses

Nurses initially arrive on a 3 year visa, which provides long-term stability to your dream team. Visas can be extended for a further 2 years if desired.

We ensure our candidates do not incur unnecessary and expensive fees from their home country agents, which means the nurses aren’t burdened with any additional financial worries.

Senior Carers and Support Workers

The government has recently made changes to the UK Immigration system which allows international Nurses, Senior Carers and Support workers to apply for roles in the UK.

The roles have been added to the government Shortage Occupation List, which ensures qualified and experienced health and social care staff from overseas apply.

How it's Done

The process is quick and simple for both the client and the candidate as applicants who take this path do not need to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as those who live in the UK do.

We bring clarity to international healthcare recruitment, with a step-by-step process for hiring international candidates with valuable knowledge and expertise.

Success is all about retention – given the complexity, time and effort required to recruit internationally. So respect for individuals committed to relocating their entire life abroad remains at the heart of our process.

The roles have been added to the government Shortage Occupation List, which ensures qualified and experienced health and social care staff from overseas apply.

Why Hire International Healthcare Professionals?

There has been a sharp rise in demand for international healthcare professionals as a result of an ageing population, an ageing workforce and an increased focus on the quality of healthcare in the UK.

Due to Brexit, there is now an uncertain political environment, which means the supply of nurses and midwives from the EU dropped by a third last year.

Our team are on hand to assist with the following:

• Help to obtain a Sponsor Licence (If required)

• Arranging interviews between candidate and client

• Gathering documentation and completing compliance

• Assisting the nurse with booking travel to the UK

• Providing ongoing support throughout the full application process

Benefits of hiring an international healthcare professional

• Hiring healthcare professionals on a permanent basis can significantly reduce agency costs. Plus, permanent employees continue the care consistency that can be interrupted by temporary staff.

• Non-EEA (European Economic Area) recruits tend to complete a minimum 3 year contract.
